NORTH ATTLEBORO, MA (Merxwire) – The Bristol Black Collective’s Royal Readers Program is excited to host a special event with Deborah Ward, renowned author and educator, on Saturday, December 7, at 12 PM at the National Black Doll Museum of History and Culture in North Attleboro, MA, 02760.

Deborah Ward is the author of The Amazing Tales of Victoria and Marshall: Anthon’s Adventure, a whimsical and educational children’s book inspired by the fun and often hilarious adventures of her young students. Ward’s books creatively blend humor, African and American history, fascinating facts, and magical moments into captivating stories that encourage both learning and imagination.

With a Master’s degree in Education from Cambridge College, Ward—affectionately known as “Ms. Deb”—has dedicated her career to inspiring and educating young minds. Originally from New Jersey, Deborah now resides on Massachusetts’ North Shore, where she lives close to her family. Her passion for education and storytelling has led her to create books that are not only entertaining but also promote a deeper understanding of history, culture, and creativity.

This program is made possible by a grant from Mass Humanities, which provided funding through the Massachusetts Cultural Council (MCC).

The event promises to be a fun and educational experience for readers of all ages. Attendees will have the opportunity to hear Deborah read from her book, The Amazing Tales of Victoria and Marshall: Anthon’s Adventure, participate in a lively Q&A session with the author, and connect with fellow book lovers and aspiring writers. Signed copies of The Amazing Tales of Victoria and Marshall: Anthon’s Adventure will be available for purchase, making this a perfect holiday gift or treasured keepsake.

The Royal Readers Program is committed to fostering literacy and celebrating diverse voices in literature. This event is a unique opportunity for families, educators, and young readers to engage with an author who blends creativity, history, and fun into every story. Don’t miss this chance to meet Deborah Ward.
