What are the students’ plans for this summer vacation? Due to the impact and limitations of Covid-19, Lift2Enrich announced the holding of a free Online Short Story Writing Camp, which welcomes students from the third to fifth grade.
Atlanta, GA (Merxwire) – LIFT2Enrich is a non-profit organization dedicated to creating creative spaces and environments. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, they announced the first virtual summer camp, hoping to help students improve creativity and writing skills. The Hawaiian themed camp will run from June 15th – 26th and is geared towards students third through fifth grades.
If this summer vacation, the students at home have not decided what to do, encourage them to participate! During the free week-long summer camp, students will learn short stories through daily online courses and free time, and learn how to enhance imagination and writing skills.
“We originally thought this camp would be held in person, and that would certainly be ideal, but given the risks surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, this is a safer option. Ensuring our campers and their families remain safe and healthy is our top priority. We are excited to bring this camp to students. They are going to walk away as more confident, knowledgeable writers,” Terri Whitmire
At the end of camp, interested students will have the opportunity to submit their final stories for a chance to win scholarships and other prizes. For more information and to register for camp, please visit LIFT2Enrich.org
