Calligrapher and painter Ding Lin held a solo exhibition at the Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall in Taiwan from March 17 to 28. Nearly 100 works were exhibited, and people who like art were invited to appreciate the works and exquisite artistry.
Taipei, Taiwan (Merxwire) – Chinese brush painter and calligrapher Ding Lin held a solo exhibition ” WAN CAI MO” at the Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall in Taiwan from March 17 to 28, exhibiting 93 Chinese brush paintings calligraphy works.
Nearly 100 famous Chinese brush painters and calligraphers visited the exhibition together to appreciate the charm of Chinese brush painting and calligraphy. In the name of the collection, ” WAN ” means “Play.” Teacher Ding Lin felt that learning Chinese brush painting and calligraphy must absorb famous painters’ advantages and combine her ideas to create new ideas.
The 88-year-old Ding Lin uses various creative methods to combine traditional art with modern painting techniques. After retirement, she focused on the world of Chinese brush painting and calligraphed. Ding Lin said: “The greatest joy of painting is when there is an inspiration. The pleasure at that moment is hard to describe.”
Many teachers, classmates, and friends came to congratulate Ding Lin during the exhibition. Chinese brush painter and calligrapher Wu Li-Ying said: “Ding Lin is a teacher who makes people feel happy and joyful. She has a lot of knowledge so that everyone who comes into contact with her is full of positive energy.”
