“2026 Yehliu Night Tours: See the Queen’s Head Illuminated at Night” Open June 28, Discounted Tickets on Sale June 1

NEW TAIPEI CITY, TAIWAN (MERXWIRE) – Organized by the North Coast & Guanyinshan National Scenic Area Headquarters, Tourism Administration, MOTC., the annual “2026 Yehliu Night Tours: See the Queen’s Head Illuminated at Night” will take place at Yehliu Geopark from June 28 to July 12, 2026, daily from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Limited discounted tickets will be available for global online advance purchase starting at 12:00 noon on June 1, inviting visitors from Taiwan and abroad to experience Yehliu’s spectacular nighttime feast of light and shadow.

Yehliu Geopark is renowned for its rare weathering-sculpted rock landscapes and is a must-visit destination for international travelers to Taiwan. Launched in 2018, “Yehliu Night Tours: See the Queen’s Head Illuminated at Night” has since been listed as an international event in the Tourism Administration’s Taiwan Tourism Biennial Calendar. The event successfully combines Yehliu’s distinctive geological landscape with contemporary digital light art, creating a romantic summer-night atmosphere. Over the years, the event has also received multiple international design awards, including Winner in Excellent Communications Design / Event at the 2026 German Design Award, Gold in Event Innovation at the 2025 TITAN Innovation Awards in the United States, and Gold in Lighting Design at the 2025 PARIS Design Awards, demonstrating strong international visibility and artistic value.

This year’s event is centered on the theme “Tidal Gallery Yehliu Dual Queens, Living Legacy,” transforming Yehliu Geopark into an immersive nighttime landscape art museum. Five major light zones will connect Yehliu’s most iconic landmark, the Queen’s Head, with the new-generation landmark, Cute Princess, creating a cross-generational dialogue across time and space.

The exhibition begins at the entrance zone, “Tidal Gallery,” guiding visitors into the summer-night venue. The replica zone, “Starry Tide Light Realm,” combines artistic co-creation to present the captivating appearance of the dual queens in replica form. In the Cute Princess zone, “Princess’ Studio,” the rock wall becomes a giant canvas for a projected animation and light-sculpture show themed “Yehliu Dual Queens, Living Legacy.” The work integrates the delicate brushstrokes of local schoolchildren and artists, transforming the natural landscape into a moving color narrative. The Liying Lake zone, “LiYing Illusion Realm,” creates a tranquil and romantic immersive atmosphere, leading visitors onward to the Queen’s Head zone, “Queen’s Canvas,” where the creative brushwork of art masters outlines the Queen’s unique aesthetics across past and present.

To welcome international visitors traveling from afar, this year’s event will feature a special offer exclusively for international travelers. International visitors who purchase tickets and enter the venue may present their passports on site to redeem one limited-edition souvenir, while supplies last.
