The “WE RUN NCCU” Campus Marathon Sets a Record for the nNumber of Participants in the Drizzle


Today, it is rainy and humid in Taiwan. The National Cheng-Chi University held a campus marathon, with nearly 2,000 applicants.


Taipei, Taiwan (Merxwire) – The National Cheng-Chi University held a campus marathon yesterday morning. Thousands of students, teachers, and family members participated in this competition, bringing vitality to the school in winter.

National Cheng-Chi University is located in Wenshan District in Taiwan. The university, abbreviated as NCCU, specializes in arts and humanities, mass media, linguistics and literature, social sciences, economics, management, politics, and international affairs programs. It is the only publicly funded university in Taiwan which provides courses in journalism, advertising, radio and television, diplomacy, and several languages which are not taught at other institutions in Taiwan. NCCU is going to be the fifth member institution of University System of Taiwan in 2021.

NCCU is located in the main attractions of the campus. This method promotes the participants to get to know the school better. After completing the race, they can get a certificate of participation, medals and lottery tickets. The first prize is Nintendo Switch. Many children look forward to activities after the jogging, they hope to win this most popular game console.

This activity has brought closer the relationship between professors, students, family members and surrounding residents. They shared topics and experiences, and developed a stronger sense of identification with this university full of humanities.
