Circular Solutions in Practice — Taiwan Plastics & Rubber Bring Real-World Upgrades

TAIPEI, TAIWAN (MERXWIRE) – With the world aiming for net-zero by 2050, recycling and reuse are moving from ideas to everyday practice in plastics and rubber. This October at K Show in Düsseldorf, Taiwanese companies will roll out complete, ready-to-use answers—from turning waste into usable feedstock, to smarter machines, to longer-lasting end products—so buyers can keep quality high, cut costs, and reduce emissions.

A spokesperson for the Taiwan Association of Machinery Industry said the focus is on practical results: instead of buzzwords, visitors will see how Taiwanese makers work together—from materials to equipment to final products—to help customers lower emissions while keeping production steady and reliable.

What to watch:

THERMOLYSIS CO., LTD.: Turns plastic waste into energy and useful materials, easing pressure on landfills and making recycled inputs more dependable.

CHUMPOWER MACHINERY CORPORATION offers both two-stage stretch blow molding machines, ideal for high-volume bottled water and beverage production, and single-stage systems, suited for cosmetics and pharmaceuticals. Both can be configured as rPET bottle-blowing lines.

HCI CONVERTING EQUIPMENT CO., LTD.: Builds flexible-packaging lines tuned for single-material and eco-friendly films. Built-in automation helps plants switch to greener films without slowing down.

PRO-DESIGN CO., LTD.: Offers patented drum liners that protect barrels, extend service life, and lower emissions. (Not on display at K Show, but it reflects Taiwan’s push for practical sustainability across industries.)

Together, these pieces create a usable loop: waste becomes new material, machines process it efficiently, and products last longer before needing replacement. On the K Show stage, Taiwan’s exhibitors will show how efficiency and sustainability can go hand in hand—positioning themselves as dependable partners for global buyers looking to upgrade without the hype.
